At COP30, the Belem Action Plan for Health and Climate Adaptation was launched with a $300 million commitment from 35 philanthropies. The plan aims to strengthen health systems globally to deal with climate change impacts. The health finance gap, particularly in developing countries, was emphasized, with India alone needing $643 billion by 2030.
