Vaishali Rameshbabu, the lowest-rated player in the Women’s Candidates tournament, delivered the biggest hit of her career by winning the tournament and gaining 26 ELO points. She will now compete at the Women’s World Championship, becoming the second Indian woman to do so after Koneru Humpy.
