BJP flags unregistered NGOs, seeks strict monitoring

Excelsior Correspondent Srinagar, Dec 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s J&K unit today raised concerns over unregistered NGOs and trusts operating in the Union Territory, demanding strict vigilance against entities “involved in funding anti-national elements.” Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, BJP J&K State spokesperson Altaf Thakur emphasised the need for comprehensive monitoring of both registered and unregistered organisations operating in the UT.
