Delhi is once again facing a severe air pollution emergency, with a thick layer of smog making it almost impossible to be outside and breathe normally. The air quality index (AQI) in Delhi has repeatedly broken the “hazardous” levels this season. According to an ANI report, Delhi is now witnessing a massive jump — a 90% surge — in cases of respiratory ailments among children and adults visiting the outpatient departments (OPDs), said health experts monitoring the current situation.
