Union HM Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for Assam’s second Legislative Assembly complex in Dibrugarh, marking a key step towards making the city the state’s second capital. Projects worth hundreds of crores across legislative infrastructure, sports, wildlife conservation and flood mitigation were also launched, highlighting the Centre’s push for decentralised and inclusive development.
