Equitas Small Finance Bank Q4 profit soars 5-fold on expansion, asset quality

Equitas Small Finance Bank's net profit surged five times to Rs 213 crore in the fourth quarter. This growth was fueled by expanded business and better asset quality. Provisions also decreased significantly. The bank saw its net interest margin improve. Gross advances grew by 22 percent year-on-year. Non-performing assets reduced, and credit costs declined.
