Eternal Limited receives ₹3.69 crore GST demand order for FY20; plans to appeal

Eternal Limited faces a ₹3.69 crore GST demand order from West Bengal tax authorities for FY20, including ₹1.92 crore in demand, ₹1.58 crore in interest, and ₹19.24 lakh in penalty. The company plans to appeal the order, expressing confidence in its legal position. Despite this regulatory challenge, Eternal demonstrated strong Q2 FY26 performance with 183% revenue growth to ₹13,590 crore, driven by its quick-commerce business Blinkit, which grew 755% year-on-year to ₹9,891 crore.
