Global wellness expert Dr Eric Berg warns that many common synthetic vitamins and minerals can harm health. He advises against synthetic Vitamin A, beta-carotene, folic acid, B12, calcium carbonate, ferrous sulfate, magnesium oxide, Vitamin D2, excessive omega-6 oils, and isolated copper. Berg stresses that nutrients are best absorbed from whole foods. Supplements should be used with caution.
