Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Jan 30: Rashtra is an indigenous Indian concept. There is a fundamental difference between the English word ‘nation’ and the Indian understanding of ‘rashtra’. The term ‘nation’ came to India from Western countries and originated from the German language.
