Hospital group urges creation of regulator as insurance disputes hit patients

The Association of Healthcare Providers, India is pressing insurers to revise tariffs, warning against arbitrary cashless suspensions and claim rejections. AHPI director general Dr. Girdhar J. Gyani called for the creation of a dedicated hospital regulator to oversee standards and tariffs.
