India develops next-gen autonomous underwater vehicles for mine warfare

The system, created by the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL) in Visakhapatnam, comprises multiple compact AUVs equipped with Side Scan Sonar and underwater cameras as primary payloads for real-time detection and classification of mine-like objects.
