Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the India-EU technology and defence partnership marks a major step in bringing the two sides closer amid global challenges. Signed ahead of the 16th India-EU Summit, the pact will enhance cooperation in security, defence and people-to-people ties. India is now the third Asian nation after Japan and South Korea to sign such a partnership with the EU.
