India has successfully reduced its carbon intensity by 7% between FY15 and FY24 through increased renewable energy integration and efficient technologies. The nation surpassed its NDC target of 50% non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030, achieving it five years ahead of schedule. Government initiatives like PM-KUSUM and PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana are further boosting renewable energy adoption.
