India and the US have moved closer to jointly producing F414 jet engines, with GE Aerospace and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited finalising a key technical agreement, Bloomberg reported. The deal includes technology transfer and will power India’s next-generation fighter jets, boosting indigenous defence manufacturing and strengthening air power amid regional security challenges.
