India’s Infant Mortality Rate Falls to Record Low of 25

The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in the country has reached a historic low of 25, reflecting a significant decrease of 37.5 per cent from 40 in 2013, as per the Sample Registration System report for 2023 by the Registrar General of India.
