India’s next leap is fifth-generation fighter jets with home-built engines: Rajnath Singh at ET WLF

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said Indias Tejas fighter aircraft represents the nations growing ability to design and build advanced defence systems. Speaking at the ET World Leaders Forum in Delhi, he highlighted progress in indigenous fighter jets, AI and semiconductors, while stressing Indias role in stabilising supply chains. Singh invited global investors to join Indias defence manufacturing sector and argued that the country is uniquely placed to guide a fairer world order built on equality, cooperation, and shared prosperity.
