Intel has been testing chipmaking tools from ACM Research, a firm with sanctioned China-linked units, raising national-security concerns despite no evidence of wrongdoing. Lawmakers warn the use of such equipment risks exposing sensitive U.S. technology and deepening reliance on cheaper China-connected suppliers.
