NCP leader Rohit Pawar has demanded the removal of Pune’s Modern College principal, Nivedita Ekbote, from Maharashtra’s youth and sports policy committee over alleged caste bias by a former Dalit student. The college denies the claims. Pawar warned that individuals with “Manuvadi” ideologies could harm youth opportunities and called for the committee’s restructuring.
