Nurses across Maharashtra protested on Thursday against DMER’s administrative transfer policy for nursing staff. Demonstrations were held at state-run hospitals, including Ghati Hospital and Sassoon General Hospital, under the Maharashtra Government Nurses Federation. Nurses warned the orders would disrupt families, childcare, eldercare and patient care services in government hospitals.
