Maharashtra Proposes Air Ambulance Service For Golden Hour Response As Road Accidents Claim 5,233 Lives In Four Months

Maharashtra has moved to launch air ambulance services for road accident victims, with the Transport Department proposing a ₹29 lakh feasibility study and DPR, the report said. The High-Power Committee asked it to resubmit the plan after Health Department scrutiny. Officials said the service would target the golden hour on highways and remote routes across the state.
