Malaysia remains a major tourist hub with strong travel activity, but health authorities have issued a caution as tuberculosis cases rise during the busy festive season. The Health Ministry reported 596 new TB cases in the sixth epidemiological week, taking the total to 3,161, and warned that crowded and poorly ventilated venues may increase transmission risk amid higher social interactions during Ramadan.
