Punjab has launched a statewide attendance-tracking system under Mission Samrath 4.0, sending daily SMS alerts to parents about their children’s school attendance. The move aims to boost accountability, improve learning outcomes and ensure student safety, alongside increased education funding, better infrastructure and scaling of effective teaching practices.
