Mumbai: BMC Deploys Unmanned Electric Boats To Remove Floating Waste Near Gateway Of India And Badhwar Park

BMC has deployed unmanned electric boats at Gateway of India and Badhwar Park to collect floating waste from the sea. Equipped with GPS and VTMS technology, the eco-friendly boats remove nearly 80 to 90 kg of marine waste daily as part of Mumbai’s coastal cleanliness initiative.
