IIT Madras and international partners have developed a silicon nanotube-based nanoinjection platform that delivers breast cancer drug doxorubicin directly into cancer cells, enhancing effectiveness while sparing healthy cells. This targeted approach reduces side effects, lowers treatment costs, and holds promise for affordable, safer cancer therapy in low- and middle-income countries.
