At the Mission Merit & STEM Conference 2026, BMC introduced the Science Somwar initiative to strengthen STEM education in municipal schools. The civic body felicitated 133 schools for excellence under Ganit Guruwar, while Mayor Ritu Tawde announced laptops for 150 top-performing Class 10 students and praised teachers for driving academic success.
