Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty bulls have had two days of a very sharp fall intraday followed by an equally sharp recovery if not more. They would hope for a hat-trick going into the Sensex weekly expiry session today. The bigger question is to sustain the recovery at higher levels. Another issue with the Nifty is that the index has been making lower lows for six sessions in a row, meaning failing to defend the previous day's intraday low. That level of 23,151 becomes crucial today on the downside. On the upside, 23,500 continues to remain the first major hurdle to cross, followed by the 23,700 - 23,800 zone. The market has remained resilient amidst reports and in anticipation of some reform push by the government. The Nifty Bank will be the index to watch as it continues to see 1,000-point intraday moves daily. IT sell-off may extend as well today with ADRs of Infosys and Wipro declining between 3.5% to 5% overnight yet again. Also watch for stocks like Trent, IEX, Rajesh Exports, BHEL and others.
