Two Shankaracharyas visited home in Srinagar: Yasin Malik's affidavit chronicles religious, political ties

Mohammad Yasin Malik, jailed Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, claimed in an affidavit to the Delhi High Court that Shankaracharyas visited him multiple times and that he was part of many backchannel peace processes initiated by the Indian government. He was sentenced to life term by the NIA for receiving foreign funding and links with militant outfits
