The Trump administration has ordered the US to withdraw from 31 UN-linked and 35 non-UN organisations, saying they undermine American interests and sovereignty. Citing “globalist agendas,” it has barred funding and participation, cut UN contributions, exited the Paris Climate Agreement, and expanded its rollback of multilateral bodies.
