TransAstra, a California-based company, has created the Capture Bag, an innovative solution for asteroid mining. Made from aerospace-grade materials, the bag can enclose objects of all sizes and has potential uses in removing space debris. With plans to start mining in 2028, TransAstra has received funding from private investors and NASA.
