I feel stronger than ever.” Fitness expert Garima Goyal said such compound exercises are highly effective in one’s 50s as they build functional strength, improve balance and stability, and help counter age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia). She highlighted that lower-body strength supports mobility, independence and joint health, while kettlebell training also enhances grip strength, cardiovascular endurance and overall resilience, provided proper form, warm-ups and gradual progression are followed.
