Zee secures FIFA World Cup broadcasting rights

Zee Entertainment Enterprises has acquired media rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and 2030 in India. This move signals Zee's re-entry into sports broadcasting with its upcoming Unite8 Sports channels. The deal concludes extensive negotiations after previous talks with JioStar faltered. Industry sources estimate the value to be over $40 million.
