Ahmedabad-based Zydus Lifesciences has launched Tishtha, the world's first biosimilar of the oncology drug nivolumab, in India. This move significantly lowers the cost of treatment, making it accessible to more patients. The Delhi High Court's verdict cleared the path for Zydus to market the drug before its patent expiry.
